KOMOREBI
This evening length work is a full scale immersive theatrical experience. KOMOREBI observes the nature of perseverance, the dissemination of wisdom through generational stories, and how the cycles of growth parallel the cycles in our cosmos.
About the Work
KOMOREBI is an original interdisciplinary production by Navaji David Nava incorporating choreography, performance, costuming, photography, film, mythology, and spiritual themes.
KOMOREBI is a contemporary ballet that uses the power of human mythology to explore the nature of perseverance, to inspire a relationship with the natural world, and to highlight how growth cycles parallel cosmic cycles.
“As our lives rapidly evolve to coexist with technology and artificial intelligence, I want to honor the intellect, emotions, and creativity unique to the human spirit.” —Navaji
