ATMA Moves is cultivating choreographic work, classes, rehearsals, embodied research, and public-facing artistic offerings rooted in reverence, rigor, and transformation. Support can take many forms: future charitable giving, sponsorship, rehearsal or performance space, documentation support, costume and material resources, workshop hosting, introductions, or other in-kind contributions.

WAYS TO SUPPORT
Give, sponsor, host, or connect
ATMA Moves welcomes support in several forms. Some support may be made through fiscal sponsorship once active; other support may happen directly through resources, services, space, or relationship-building.
Future charitable giving through Austin Creative Alliance: Once fiscal sponsorship is active, donors will be able to make charitable contributions through Austin Creative Alliance in support of ATMA Moves.
Direct and in-kind support: You can also support ATMA Moves through resources, services, space, materials, introductions, hosting opportunities, or other contributions that do not require a tax receipt.

Public Benefit
ATMA Moves is an artistic and public-serving movement initiative rooted in choreographic creation, performance, training, and embodied research. Support helps sustain public-facing artistic and educational work in service of a broader community.
Fiscal Sponsorship
ATMA Moves is in the process of becoming a fiscally sponsored project of Austin Creative Alliance, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting creative and cultural work. Once active, fiscal sponsorship will create a structure through which charitable support can be received for eligible public-facing artistic work.
Use of Funds
Funds raised in support of ATMA Moves are directed toward project and organizational expenses connected to the mission of the work. This may include rehearsals, artist support, classes, workshops, performance development, costumes, documentation, space rental, production needs, and mission-aligned administrative expenses.
Clear Separation
Charitable support for ATMA Moves is kept distinct from primarily commercial or earned-income activity. Donations support the artistic, educational, and public-benefit activities of ATMA Moves, while class fees, ticket sales, merchandise, and other earned income may be handled separately.
FISCAL SPONSORSHIP
Giving through Austin Creative Alliance
Once active, donors who wish to make a tax-deductible contribution will give through Austin Creative Alliance and designate the gift for ATMA Moves. Contributions made directly to ATMA Moves or Navaji David Nava are not the same as charitable gifts made through Austin Creative Alliance.
Until the fiscal sponsorship agreement is finalized, please contact ATMA Moves directly about future giving, sponsorship, in-kind contributions, or aligned support.
IN-KIND SUPPORT
Resources that help the work live
ATMA Moves welcomes practical resources and aligned contributions, including rehearsal or performance space, photography and videography, editing and documentation, costume materials and fabric, printing and design, sound and lighting resources, storage, food or wellness support for rehearsal days, and professional services.
Introductions to aligned donors, sponsors, venues, festivals, presenters, and workshop hosts are also deeply valuable. In-kind support may or may not be eligible for a tax acknowledgment depending on how it is received and whether it is processed through Austin Creative Alliance. Please contact us first so we can determine the clearest way to receive and document your support.

What does support go toward?
Support is directed toward project and organizational expenses such as rehearsals, artist support, performance development, classes, workshops, costumes, documentation, space rental, and administrative needs connected to the artistic mission of ATMA Moves.
Is ATMA Moves a nonprofit?
ATMA Moves is not currently its own nonprofit organization. ATMA Moves is in the process of becoming fiscally sponsored through Austin Creative Alliance, which would allow eligible charitable support to be received through ACA's 501(c)(3) structure once the sponsorship is active.
Is ATMA Moves a commercial business?
ATMA Moves may generate earned income through classes, performances, workshops, or related offerings, but charitable support is intended for its broader artistic, educational, and public-facing mission rather than for primarily commercial activity.
Why mention fiscal sponsorship?
Fiscal sponsorship creates a structure through which artistic work with public benefit can receive charitable support without becoming its own nonprofit. It allows donors, grantmakers, and sponsors to support ATMA Moves through an established nonprofit organization once sponsorship is active.
Can I support before the donation link is live?
Yes. You can reach out directly about future giving, sponsorship, project support, workshop hosting, in-kind contributions, space, materials, services, collaborations, or introductions to aligned funders and presenters.
Can I donate resources instead of money?
Yes. ATMA Moves welcomes in-kind support such as space, documentation, costume materials, production support, printing, food, equipment, professional services, and introductions. Please contact us first so we can determine the best way to receive the support.
Are direct contributions tax-deductible?
Direct contributions made to ATMA Moves or Navaji David Nava are not the same as tax-deductible charitable contributions through Austin Creative Alliance. Once fiscal sponsorship is active, donors seeking a tax-deductible gift should give through ACA and designate ATMA Moves as the supported project.
