About
ATMA Moves is a movement methodology and repertory ensemble founded in 2017 by Navaji David Nava. At its core is Pranic Dance, an original movement practice developed through the integration of energetic awareness with a professional dance foundation rooted in classical ballet and contemporary dance lineages. Shaped by embodied intelligence, choreographic discipline, and contemplative practice, ATMA Moves offers a distinct approach to movement training, performance, and artistic research. Its work is devoted to aesthetic excellence, creative development, embodied awareness, and transformation.
Mission
ATMA Moves creates choreographic, educational, and interdisciplinary work that uses dance and movement as tools for artistic expression, personal development, and community connection. Through performance, classes, workshops, and collaborative projects, ATMA Moves supports artists and audiences in deepening their relationship to the body, movement, perception, and creativity.
Purpose
ATMA Moves exists to support embodied awareness, creative growth, and meaningful human connection through movement-based practice. It offers dance as a path of discipline, expression, reflection, and transformation in service to a more compassionate and conscious world.
